The Spokane Festival of Speed achieves its mission by locating various causes and events to provide resources to help connect members of the Parkinson’s community with the education and resources they need to live their best possible quality of life. We have supported organizations such as Parkinson’s Resource Center, who provided a variety of interactive and educational programs like: TeleHealth, that reaches out to 5 states and 21 rural communities; support groups; activities like music, dance and voice therapies; caregiver and family support; and provider trainings, all free of charge.
The Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation Inland Empire was founded to support thousands of people with Parkinson’s, their families, caregivers, friends and colleagues. The organization is a community organization funded by the generous support of its local community, donors and fundraisers like the Spokane Festival of Speed.
